A Lifetime of Music

Larry has been a songwriter and musician for many years and he continues to create and explore many genres of music.  His vast influences cover a range of styles including classic rock, pop, adult contemporary, country, and jazz. His songwriting focuses on strong melodies, distinguishable chord structures, and interesting lyrical expression.  Starting out on guitar as a teenager, he soon taught himself bass and piano with countless hours in practice rooms and his own studio. Larry has been composing songs since then and continues to evolve as his influences continue to shape and mold his musical repertoire.

 
Some of those years were spend in top forty bands playing the hits of the time and trying to create a full studio sound out of just four or five musicians.  This experience provided a strong background of how arrangements are created and what studio production is all about.  Now with the advent of digital studio production, Larry can create just what he hears in his head with limitless boundaries. Other times a song’s production can blossom out of a basic structure and then grow into something unexpected with lots of trial and error.
